About Us

Pendeza Community is a women-led non-profit dedicated to empowering underserved communities through social sector services. With over 40 years of experience, we operate in Kisumu, Siaya, and Homabay, addressing mental health challenges and promoting emotional intelligence. We foster self-reliance and gender equality through community involvement and innovation.

Our work is funded by 10% of the sales from organic cotton handwoven fabrics, crafted by Pendeza women and youth artisans and showcased in Nairobi. These events also raise awareness about mental health and postpartum depression.
